Doğukan İres’ interest in music started at an early age and his idea to become a DJ came into the spotlight thanks to a couple of his older friends who were active in İstanbul night scene. During his high school years, he was already involved in party organizations and soon became a frequent face in the İstanbul nightlife scene.

A regular member of clubs, İres had the opportunity to listen to many local and international DJs and this experience had a huge impact on his passion for music. His love for music reached its peak during J&B Techno Festival which was organized by Hip Production. Mesmerized by the hip atmosphere, Doğukan İres decided to pursue his passion for music and started to form his own archive. He started to practice with his newly acquired equipment at home and got the opportunity to perform at friends’ house parties as a guest DJ. His enthusiasm and love for music and outgoing personality enabled him to perform at his first professional performance at Aquarius Club in Bursa in 2001. His performances drew Kaya Sirmen’s attention and he found himself behind the decks at the famous club nights of The Turntable Clubbing, which was a big hit at the time, was the turning point of his music carrier. From then on, he started to play music at the highly-rated clubs of Istanbul, as well as London’s Sosho Club and Ministry of Sound.

He’s still spinning as a resident DJ in İstanbul’s most celebrated spot Minimüzikhol. In 2005, Doğukan İres joined FG 93.7 and played every Wednesday night for one year. In 2006, he joined Dinamo FM 103.8, one of İstanbul’s most important electronic music radio. İres’s love affair with music production began in 2005 and soon encouraged by one of the most important producers in Turkey, Dj Met a.k.a (Ahmet Sendil). Having the opportunity to work with Sendil, he developed himself as a producer, entering the DJ cases of world-famous names like Denny Howells, Desyn Masiello, Luke Fair, and Hernan Cattaneo with his first ep. Mind Control, was released by the Turkish label Funkfield Records first then by Canadian Morrison Recordings in 2006. In 2014, he joined L.E.T (Les Enfants Terribles) which is a party and music label in Zurich. The label released its first EP "Missed Concert" from Dogukan Ires as vinyl and digital copies in 2016.
